Al Salam Alaikum, |
The Productive Muslim Program is more than just a regular productivity program. |
We use the word productivity because it’s what people are obsessed with. |
And yes, when you go through the program, you may notice some very practical changes to your life and routines: |
You start the day fresh. |
You block out your salah timings. |
You get your evenings back. |
Your deep work stops bleeding into the night. |
Your energy doesn’t disappear by Asr. |
You become more consistent with the things that actually matter. |
Those things genuinely happen as many of our current and former participants can attest. |
But they aren’t the point. |
They’re the result of doing the deeper, inner work. |
The secular productivity world often has one underlying goal: |
Get more done. |
Optimize your hours. Extract more output. Become more efficient. |
And if the system works, you become a better producer. |
The goal is production, and you are the machine being tuned. |
Our starting point is different. |
And because the starting point is different, everything downstream changes. |
You are an abd of Allah. |
That is the core identity underneath every hour of your life. |
It isn't one role among several. |
It is who you actually are. |
At your desk. |
In traffic. |
In the difficult conversation. |
At dinner with your children. |
When you're exhausted. |
When nobody is watching. |
When you succeed. |
And when you fail. |
That reframes the entire question. |
It stops being: |
How do I squeeze more out of my day? |
And becomes: |
How do I turn every part of my day into an act of ibadah (worship)? |
That’s why we start with identity rather than tactics and ‘hacks’. |
It’s why salah anchors the day rather than interrupts it. |
It’s why we talk about barakah with your time, energy, and focus, rather than simply trying to get more of it. |
It’s why we teach barakah culture instead of hustle culture. |
And it’s why the measure of a good week isn’t simply how much you produced. |
It’s whether the people and responsibilities Allah placed in front of you received their due right (haqq). |
A secular productivity system can make you a more efficient version of whoever you already are. |
The Productive Muslim Program asks a different question: |
Are you becoming the best version of yourself as ab Abd of Allah, and does your calendar reflect it? |
That is the real work of these eight weeks. |
Productivity is what happens along the way. |

P.S. There is nothing wrong with wanting to get more done. The question is what all that doing is ultimately for, and whether your calendar reflects the answer. |
