How to go from a "popcorn brain" to Sakina
Assalamu'alaikum, |
We are facing a serious epidemic in our lives. |
We simply cannot focus. |
Our brains have become like popcorn…popping from one thing to the next, unable to hold attention or a conversation for any length of time. It's affecting the old and the young alike, and we need to do something about it. |
What's worse? With the advent of AI, the problem is masked. We can now outsource any hard task that requires deep focus to AI, and go right back to popping our brains between reels, shorts, and the next dopamine hit. |
Yet even the most ardent AI supporter would admit that something is lost when we lose our ability to focus deeply. We don’t just lose our ability to think, but we lose our ability to be human. |
As Muslims, whenever we face a problem in life, we return to the Qur'an and the Sunnah. And we, at The Productive Muslim Company, believe that the life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his daily habits and routines hold the blueprint to cure this epidemic. |
