  • A podcast on "Debating Sharia on Capitol Hill" featured interviews with Texas-based activist Krista Schild, Congresswoman Mary Scanlon (D-PA), Professor AS Ibrahim (Southern Baptist Theological Seminary), and others about recent attempts to "ban Sharia" in the United States.

  • Egypt's Dār al-Iftā stated that "in today's age, technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) offer tools that can enhance preparation for Ramadan....[but] artificial intelligence cannot serve as a primary source for acquiring Islamic knowledge or replace qualified scholars."
  • In India, "the Supreme Court has appointed Senior Advocate Shoeb Alam as amicus curiae to assist it in an appeal challenging a Kerala High Court ruling that allows Muslim women to dissolve their marriages through khula without the husband's consent."
  • "The Gujarat High Court [India]...rejected the plea of a Muslim woman challenging a 1983 family arrangement to claim a share in the immovable properties her brothers received from their father, holding that the concept of 'a joint family' under Hindu succession laws is alien to Mohammedan law."
  • "The Chhattisgarh High Court [India] has issued a significant verdict regarding the distribution of property among Muslims and emphasised that no member of the community is permitted to bequeath more than one-third of their assets to any person via a will without obtaining the consent of their legal heirs."
  • "Uzbek­istan is pre­par­ing to intro­duce Islamic bank­ing after the Sen­ate approved legis­la­tion cre­at­ing a legal frame­work for Sharia-com­pli­ant fin­an­cial ser­vices."
  • "The UAE Council for Fatwa has set the official amounts and cash values for Zakat Al Fitr, Fidyah and related Ramadan payments for 2026, following a field price study conducted with the Ministry of Economy and Tourism."
