  • "Turkey's Minister of Justice has issued an arrest warrant for a Youtuber named 'Diamond Tema' due to comments made on a recent program regarding Islamic Sharia law."

  • Malaysia's Minister of Religious Affairs recently warned Islamic scholars that they should not comment on issues in which they are not knowledgeable.  The Minister said: "It is not wrong to say you don't know because even Imam Malik, Imam Syafie when asked by a student, they said they don't know, when they do not know."
  • "Members of the Taliban have shared an audio file of Sheikh Abdul Ali Deobandi on X, in which he declares that teaching women to read and write, even at home, is prohibited."
  • "The acting Minister of Information and Culture [in Afghanistan], in a meeting with journalists in Paktia, said that the previous public media law is in accordance with Sharia and the principles of the Islamic Emirate and, with minor differences, will soon be made available to the media."
  • "The Taliban's reclusive supreme leader [Hibatullah Akhundzada] [...] warned Afghans against earning money or gaining worldly honor at a time when the country is in the grip of humanitarian crises and isolated on the global stage."
