- In Malaysia, "the public is being advised to respect the Federal Constitution, comply with Islamic law and take care of the sensitivities of Muslims in order to preserve harmony and national unity. This follows backlash over alcoholic beverages being served at an event allegedly organised by a government agency."
- "Afghanistan's acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, representing the Taliban government, made an important visit to the Darul Uloom Deoband Seminary in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh [India]....during which he met Mufti Abul Qasim Nomani, the seminary's rector, and Maulana Arshad Madani, president of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind."

- "An imam has pleaded guilty after two teenagers were allowed to marry each other in a mosque. Northamptonshire [UK] Police said Ashraf Osmani had been charged under forced marriage legislation after it was alleged he conducted a Nikah wedding ceremony involving two 16-year-olds at Northampton Central Mosque."
- Expediency Council member Mohammad-Reza Bahonar told reporters that the "Hijab and Chastity Law—quietly shelved by Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) in May—is 'no longer legally enforceable.'"
- "Iran is poised to implement a new anti-espionage law expanding government control over social media and online activity which could expand the death penalty for internet speech. - "Italy's ruling party, Brothers of Italy, plans to propose a law banning burqas and niqabs in public areas to combat 'Islamic separatism'. The bill includes fines for violators and new financial transparency requirements for unrecognised religious organisations."
- "The Islamabad High Court has disposed of a writ petition related to an underage marriage, while also making broad recommendations for legislative reforms regarding child marriages in Pakistan. Justice Muhammad Azam Khan issued a detailed judgment in a case [in which he] cited numerous Supreme Court and high court precedents establishing that while child marriages may constitute criminal offenses, they are not rendered invalid under Islamic law."
